After the Praise The Lord , director Shibu Gangadharan has made Rudra Simhasanam. He joins hands with Sunil Parameshwaran who also wrote the script of the film to produce a tantric with Suresh Gopi in the lead.
All the ingredients of a thriller are included as beautiful women in traditional attire, superstitions, mysterious occurrences, powerful poojas etc. Though all these elements are present, there is lot of confusions and many elements override. Suresh Gopi, who presents the lead disappears every now and then and mystery surrounds about his role in the movie. The female cast including Nikki Galrani, Kaniha and Shewtha Menon has got not much to portray. They are used for making sensuous and provoking dialogues.
Though one is expected to watch many thrilling scenes, it only helps us to make our hair stand on its end with exasperation.
Many of the dialogues presented by Nedumudi Venu and Sudheer Karamana leaves us in sheer astonishment. The actors bring about inflated melodrama into equation that leaves a lot to be desired.
In Short, the film is a torture by any standard. The film lacks depth and succeeds in testing the patience of the audience. In Short, it is more like a fancy dress show with some unbearable loud music in the background.
